Aim Transportation Solutions is thrilled to announce the promotion of Mike Wall to Regional Vice President of Sales. Mike has been with Aim since 2013 and has been in the transportation industry for nearly 40 years. 

Mike holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and advertising from the University of Colorado Boulder and a master’s degree in communications from the University of Denver. 

Mike’s role with Aim consists of supporting the sales staff in growing and retaining business in the Colorado, Utah, Arizona, and New Mexico markets.

Aim Transportation Solutions is extremely excited to announce the promotion of Mary Zigarevich to Software Project and Quality Assurance Manager. Mary started at Aim nine years ago in Quality Assurance, and she was promoted to Quality Assurance Manager, where she flourished, delivering value to Aim and its customers. 

Mary’s role within Aim is a hybrid of software project management and quality assurance management. For Aim’s development department, she is responsible for making sure all of the custom-coded software is properly tested and vetted before Aim releases it to users or customers. Mary plays a crucial role in verifying that Aim software products are of the highest quality, easy to use, and valuable.

Aim Celebrates Pat Grandy’s Hall of Fame Status

Youngstown native and Aim Regional Vice President of Operations, Pat Grandy, was inducted into the Struthers Athletics Hall of Fame for both high school football and high school basketball. During his high school years, he led the football team with records in receptions and touchdown receptions and he led the basketball team to the 1999 District Championship/Regional Final. Pat went on to play college football at Westminster College in New Wilmington, PA.

Chad Bauer Named to Used Trucks Operations Manager

Aim Transportation Solutions is thrilled to announce the promotion of Chad Bauer to Used Trucks Operations Manager. Chad started with Aim in 2010 as a diesel mechanic. From there, he was promoted to shop foreman and flourished in this role before receiving this well-deserved promotion. 

In Chad’s new position, he will play a crucial role in used truck sales, coordinating between shops and overseeing prep times. He will also be managing the quarterly and annual reviews on technicians in the used trucks shops. 

Chad said, “I like working at Aim because every day presents itself a new challenge that you have to work through. Each day you learn something new.”

Alexander Smith Named Mobile Applications Engineer

Aim Transportation Solutions is excited to announce the promotion of Alexander Smith to Mobile Applications Engineer. 

Alexander graduated from Youngstown State University in 2022 with a bachelor’s degree in computer science and started his career with Aim three years ago as an intern. 

In his new position, Alexander will be responsible for managing the Android Aim Navigator app. That includes, but not limited to, producing new features, improving performance, and keeping up with the latest Android policy changes.

Freddy Solis Promoted to Software Security Architect

Please join us in congratulating Freddy Solis on his promotion to Software Security Architect. Freddy started his career with Aim Transportation Solutions in 2014 as a Programmer Analyst. Shortly after, he was promoted to Software Development Team Lead, a position he held until his latest promotion to Software Security Architect.

“As Aim’s in-house developed software options continue to expand, there is an ever-growing need to focus on software cyber security,” said Vice President of Software Development, Dan Kellgren. “To continue to maintain a high level of security, Aim has created a new position within its software development group. Freddy will be heading up our software security efforts.”
